29th May 2012 – one year after.
It was Tuesday morning when for the first time in my life I saw the hell going on. I have never thought that the land I always used to walk could tremble, shake and crack like it happened, but it did.

What I remember of the rest is fear, panic and desolation. Then for a long, endless summer it went on and on with little or big quakes, while we had an enormous amount of work to do, with the only aim to go back to normal life.

I am by no means a reporter and at the time I intentionally avoided to take pictures of those frightening vistas. I have only some pictures taken with my telephone, that I keep just as a reminder.

Without any rhetoric, please have a look and hope that your land is always safe and calm.
